Mercurio (símbolo químico Hg) es un metal que es líquido a temperatura y presión normales. Se utiliza en la fabricación de bombillas de bajo consumo (CFL y otras luces fluorescentes), y el cuidado debe ser tomado en su disposición, sobre todo cuando se rompen, debido a la toxicidad del mercurio.
