Намерно прекинување на бременоста со убиството на нероденото дете. Ваква директна абортус, волја или како цел или средство, е сериозно во спротивност со моралниот закон. Црквата придава на канонски казна на екскомуникацијата на ова кривично дело против човечкиот живот (2271-2272).
